SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH Potomac Conference
May 10, 2000
Pastor John Glass, D. Min. 4367 Richwood Road Nokesville, VA 20181
Dear John:
Thank you for your letter of May 8, 2000 updating me on the project the Manassas church is helping support in Haiti.
Charles LeMorzellec and his wife , who I met when you introduced me to this project a few months ago, are true missionaries. What an important ministry they have undertaken in the building of an orphanage and church in the North West Haitian Mission.
I can on only guess how delighted the President of the mission is when he visits and sees the good work the LeMorzellec's are doing in the home they are supplying for the orphans that they care for. What good news that another member of the Manassas church has donated the roof for the church.
You surely have my permission to share with other churches in the Potomac Conference the fact that this is an official SDA project and that you are briefing me regularly about this project and its needs. There is nothing stopping other churches in the Conference from joining you and the Manassas church in also supporting this project. Perhaps they will be willing to give you permission to invite individuals, classes or groups in their congregation to become partners in this mission outreach.
May God continue to bless you, Manassas and the LeMorzellecs in this project. My prayers are with you.
Yours in Christ,
Herbert H. Broeckel, President
